Men's Soccer Extinguishes Phoenix

Hornets Earn Second Straight Win

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shenandoah University men's soccer team earned its second straight win thanks to a 2-0 non-league victory over Wilson College.
 
Playing at Shippensburg University, the Hornets (2-1) scored once in each half to extinguish the Phoenix (1-2).

IN BRIEF

William Majano had what proved to be the game-winner by finishing off a Braden Gallant assist in the 17th minute.
 
The goal is Majano's fourth of the season.
 
Chase Greene added an insurance goal with 10:37 to play. Cody Kilbourn set Greene up for his first tally of the season.
 
Sam Fischer had three saves in recording his third career shutout.
