DC Scores Late to Win 2-1

CARLISLE, Pa. – Host Dickinson College scored one early goal and one late to fuel a 2-1 non-league field hockey victory over Shenandoah University Saturday afternoon.
 
The Red Devils (2-1) scored with 8:50 to play to break and 1-1 tie and hold on for the victory over Shenandoah (2-1).

IN BRIEF

After giving up a goal just 1:51 in, the Hornets brought the game back to even 3:09 into the second half on a Kelsey Jones-to-Jessica Donovan tally.
 
The Red Devils, who had an 11-5 advantage in shots on the day, held SU without a shot after tallying that go-ahead goal.
 
Isabella Morande had four saves for SU.
