SALEM, Va. – Shenandoah University ran its field hockey winning streak to 11 with a 3-1 ODAC victory Wednesday evening at Roanoke College.

The Hornets once again wasted little time in taking control of the game as
Mairead Mckibbin tallied unassisted just 36 seconds in versus the Maroons (5-7, 0-3).

With a touch less than three minutes to play in the first half, Mckibbin fed
Cassidy Morrison for what proved to be the game-winning goal.

Roanoke got on the board for its lone goal 80 seconds after Morrison's goal.

Shenandoah outshot its hosts, 18-12, with the Maroons holding a 6-5 advantage on penalty corners.

Katie Garman made nine saves in earning the victory.
Jones, the reigning ODAC Player of the Year, now has 45 goals and 46 assists for 136Â points to break the scoring record previously held by
Taylor Hayes '20. With two more goals, Jones will equal Hayes atop that list.
