WASHINGTON, D.C. – Homestanding Gallaudet University rallied for a 3-1 non-league volleyball victory over Shenandoah Wednesday night.
Shenandoah (5-16) was a 25-15 winner in the opening set but saw the Bison (17-11) take the victory with wins at 17, 23, and 18 in sets two through four.

The Hornets had a 23-22 lead in the third only to see their hosts steal the set by scoring the final three points off of kills.
A 6-1 Gallaudet run early the fourth put GU in control of the deciding set. SU got no closer than three points the rest of the way.
Jillian Warter paced the visitors with 16 kills and 23 digs with
Kate Poppo adding 15 and 21, respectively.
Brooke Wagner was in double-digits in digs with 15.
Caitlyn Houck had 20 assists and
Abby Lichtenfels 17. For Lichtenfels, it was her second match back after being out with an injury since Sept. 11.
Aaliyah Chunn had a hand in five of the squad's 12 blocks.

The Hornets complete regular season play on Saturday with a home tri-match. SU faces Ferrum at 1 and Hood at 5. Senior
Lorriane Lee will be honored prior to the Ferrum match.
