LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Shenandoah University women's soccer team completed its rare doubleheader Saturday afternoon with a 5-0 ODAC victory over Randolph College.

Shenandoah (8-5-1, 4-0-1 ODAC) opened the day with a 4-0 victory at Sweet Briar before taking out the WildCats (4-7-0, 1-3) in the afternoon match.

The Hornets got all of the offense they would need with a pair of goals in a 58-second span late in the first half.

Both goals, by
Abbie Marquette at 37:55 and
Chandler Gallant at 38:53, came off of corner kicks and were assisted by
Saige Musser.

Another one-two spurt in the second turned the game into a rout.

Elizabeth McGee knocked home a
Madison Hieber cross at 59:26 before Heiber scored unassisted two minutes later.

Three minutes after that, Hieber converted a Musser assist to provide the final margin of victory.

Shenandoah outshot the 'Cats, 14-3, and earned all eight of the game's corner kicks.

Kasie Kilmer made two saves to record her first career shutout. The Hornets have now recorded four straight shutouts and have not allowed a goal in the last 434:20 of game time.
