SALEM, Va. – Host Roanoke College kept its women's basketball record perfect on the season with an 80-69 ODAC victory over Shenandoah Wednesday evening.
Shenandoah (4-3, 1-3 ODAC) trailed by just five, 68-63, with 5:10 remaining only to see Roanoke (7-0, 3-0) end the game on a 12-6 run.

The Maroons, who led by as much as 23 points in the third quarter, needed 8-for-8 performance from the line in the final 44 seconds to secure the victory.
Down 18, 66-48 with 9:49 to play, SU got itself back into the contest with a 15-2 run over the next 4:39 of game time. First-year
Terese Greene, who finished with a team-high 18 points, had eight points during this run with
Olivia Weinel adding three.
Sierra St. Cyr, who had 12 points, scored the final bucket of the string with a fastbreak layup at 5:10.
Roanoke stopped the bleeding with a buckets at 2:15 and 1:40 before closing the contest out with the eight free throws.
Shenandoah shot 44 percent (24-of-55) from the line and had 34 rebounds. The Maroons were 43 percent (22-of-51) from the field and pulled down 31 boards. RC also scored 29 points off of 21 SU turnovers.
Along with her 11 points, Weinel had a team-high seven rebounds.
