WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah University women's soccer team completed its regular season Wednesday with a 1-0 exhibition victory over DII Shepherd University.

Taylor Morris, making just her second appearance of the season, tapped home an
Abby Alexa cross-goal feed at 58:47 to push the Hornets past the Rams.

Shenandoah controlled the majority of the action versus its Northern Shenandoah Valley neighbors, holding possession for 66 percent of the game, but Shepherd keeper Lulu Fricks made four saves to keep the contest close.

th minute, in posting the shutout.

Shenandoah took 17 of the game's 24 shots and had a 3-2 advantage in corners.

Maiya Pencile were honored prior to the game. The quartet appeared in a combined 198 games for the Hornets with 49 goals and 29 assists for 127 points. SU also won 30 games during their first three seasons.
