WINCHESTER, Va. – Shenandoah University gave No. 3 Washington & Lee all it could handle before the Generals pulled away in a 16-8 ODAC women's lacrosse victory Thursday night at chilly Sprint Field at Shentel Stadium.
Playing in cold, windy conditions that featured occasional snow squalls, W&L (7-0, 4-0 ODAC) sandwiched a 5-1 run around halftime to separate itself from Shenandoah (2-5, 2-1).
