WINCHESTER, Va. – Shenandoah University was dominant from start to finish Wednesday night in an 18-8 non-league women's lacrosse victory over Bridgewater.
Shenandoah (3-5) scored eight of the game's first 10 goals in pulling away from Bridgewater (1-5).

Alyson Bittinger and
Emily Onorato both had three goals in that opening 8-2 run with
Reilly Cisar and
Emma Stiffler adding the other two.
Cisar joined Bittinger with hat tricks with back-to-back goals at 13:20 and 11:36.
Stiffler also eventually got to the three-goal mark with goals at 21:01 and 11:46 of the second.
Stiffler, with three goals and four assists, and Cisar, five goals and two assists, led the victors with seven points each. Bittinger also had five goals.
Shenandoah outshot the Eagles, 38-14, doubled up BC in groundballs, 22-11, and won 16 of 27 draws.
Ashley MacFarlane made four saves in 51:22 of action.
NOTABLE
Tonight's game was played as a non-league contest because of the league's new unbalanced schedule matrix for women's lacrosse. It is also the final non-league game of the season for SU.
