LYNCHBURG, Va. – Host University of Lynchburg continued its strong women's tennis season with a 9-0 ODAC victory over Shenandoah University Saturday afternoon.
Lynchburg (9-1, 6-0 ODAC) dropped just four total games in sweeping the doubles and then won all six singles matches in straight sets over Shenandoah (3-4, 2-4).

The hosts earned the match-clinching victories in singles with a win at love at No. 2 and a 6-3, 6-2 triumph at No. 1.
Madison Rogers, playing No. 5, had the closest match of the day for SU. She lost an eight-game pro-set 8-5 to Emma Pinola.
UP NEXT
The Hornets travel to Roanoke on Wednesday for a 3 p.m. ODAC match. This is also a doubleheader with the SU men.
