WINCHESTER, Va. – Visiting Randolph-Macon College six of seven contested matches in straight sets Saturday to take an 8-1 non-league women's tennis victory over Shenandoah.
 
Freshman Jahveesha Combs got the lone win for SU (3-5) with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles.

Macon (5-3) needed just three wins in the contested matches as SU forfeited at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.
 
The 'Jackets got two of those wins in doubles, winning 8-5 at No. 1 and 8-4 at No. 2.
 
The match-clinching victory came at No. 5, where Matty Grace Gilliam was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at No. 5 for R-MC.
 
The closest match came at No. 3. The Hornets Kelly Hudak fell 6-2, 4-6, 0-1 (11-13) to Emma Nesselrodt.
