Hockey to Host Quarterfinals

No. 4 Shenandoah will host No. 5 Bridgewater Tuesday, April 14 at 7 p.m. in ODAC Quarterfinal Game.

FOREST, Va. - The Old Dominion Athletic Conference released the its Field Hockey Tournament pairings Sunday afternoon.

Shenandoah, the fourth-seed squad, will host fifth-seeded Bridgewater College, on Tuesday, Apr. 14 in a 7 p.m. contest.

The Hornets saw the Eagles on Friday, March 26 in a night contest. SU shutout BC 3-0 with Kelsey Jones, Lindsey Florio and Elise Velasquez all finding the back of the goal. 

League protocols prohibiting visiting fan attendance remain in place. Live stats and a video/audio stream will be available for the quarterfinal matchup. Tickets are available to the Shenandoah University community here

Matchup Notes

Kelsey Jones is leading Shenandoah's offense with eight goals and five assists, both of which are in the top-5 for the conference. 

Caroline Quigley leads the Eagles with six goals.

BC Goalie Brooke Hamm has started every contest in goal for the Eagles, she has a goals-against average of 3.41 and has made 74 stops for a .705 save percentage, letting 31 goals in.

Shenandoah's lone senior, Isabella Morande is third in the league with just 12 goals against and a 1.55 goals-against average.
