WINCHESTER, Va. – Visiting Mary Washington scored seven unanswered goals in the fourth quarter Wednesday afternoon to help earn a 14-11 non-league men's lacrosse victory over Shenandoah.

Shenandoah (4-4) held a 10-7 lead after tallying three straight goals in a span of 2:40 early in the fourth versus Mary Washington (2-7).

The Eagles held SU off the board from the 11:00 to 1:52 marks of the fourth, scoring seven goals in that 9:08 span, to take the victory.

Jay Baker scored unassisted with 1:52 left to halt the UMW streak, but SU would not be able to get any closer.

Chris Baker led the hosts with three goals and one assist for four points with
Jay Baker and
Logan Clingerman both contributing two goals and one assist.

Bradley Holt also had two goals.

Mary Washington outshot the Hornets 49-35 and had a 30-29 edge in groundballs. UMW also 17 of 29 faceoffs, including 9-of-13 in the fourth quarter.

th straight in a series that dates back to Shenandoah's first-ever game on Mar. 3, 1993.
