LEXINGTON, Va. – Homestanding Washington & Lee earned its sixth men's lacrosse victory of the season Sunday with a 17-1 ODAC win over Shenandoah.
 
Shenandoah (4-5, 2-4 ODAC) scored the game's first goal only to see the Generals (6-3, 5-1) hold SU off the board for the final 54:32 of game time.

IN BRIEF

Devon Weaver scored that lone goal for the Hornets, tallying unassisted at 9:28 of the first.
 
W&L answered back three minutes later before scoring what proved to be the game-winner with 4:22 remaining in the first.
 
The Generals added six goals in the second, four in the third, and five in the fourth to provide the final margin of victory.
 
W&L outshot SU, 59-34, had a 38-19, advantage in groundballs and won 14 of 22 faceoffs.
 
Hornets goalkeeper Mark Isabelle made 12 saves in 45 minutes of action. Gabe Russell and Isaac Graves each had one stop in splitting the fourth quarter.
