LEXINGTON, Va. - No. 18 Washington & Lee was strong from top to bottom in a 9-0 ODAC women's tennis victory over Shenandoah Friday afternoon.
Other than the matches at No. 1 singles and doubles, the Generals (8-2, 7-0 ODAC) dropped just one game in taking out the Hornets (3-7, 2-6).
IN BRIEF
Jahveesha Combs and Lily Kimble had the closest match for SU, falling 8-5 to Gabi Moss and Becket Waters at No. 1 doubles.
Combs and Moss matched up again at No. 1 singles with the latter earning a 6-0, 6-2 win.
The remaining five singles matches, as well as No. 2 doubles, were all won at love by W&L.
Kelly Hudak and Caitlin Bennett fell 8-1 at No. 3 doubles.
