WINCHESTER, Va. –  The Shenandoah University women's lacrosse team has advanced to the ODAC Tournament semi-finals thanks to a 17-11 victory over Randolph-Macon Wednesday evening.

Shenandoah (7-6) advances to the tournament semi-finals for the fourth straight year and the sixth time in eight seasons of league play with the win over R-MC (5-8).
IN BRIEF
The Hornets jumped all over the Yellow Jackets by scoring the initial seven goals of the game.

Allyson Bittinger, the current ODAC Player of the Week, had three goals during this opening run and
Emma Stiffler two.

Bittinger's third goal, at 17:56 of the first, was the 200
th of her career.

Bittinger is now 10 goals from tying Samantha Sisson '14 for the all-time lead at SU.

After Macon scored its first goal of the game, by Natalie Webster at 17:25, Shenandoah answered with an 8-2 run to close out the first half.

The Hornets held at least a 10-goal lead from the 8:24 mark of the first until 8:22 remained in the contest.

R-MC ended the game on a 6-0 run.

Stiffler led the victors with six goals with Bittinger and
Reilly Cisar adding three each. Cisar also had two assists.

Ashley MacFarlane made 13 saves.

The two teams split 62 shots with Shenandoah holding a 15-7 advantage in groundballs and Macon winning 17 of 30 draws.
