Men's Soccer Falls in Overtime

Drop 1-0 ODAC Decision at Guilford

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Shenandoah University men's soccer team suffered its second overtime loss of the week Saturday in a 1-0 double OT defeat at Guilford.
 
Guilford (5-2-1, 5-2-1 ODAC) got a Ryan Doyle goal 6:23 into the second sudden victory overtime to down Shenandoah (1-6-2, 1-5-2).

IN BRIEF

SU, which fell in overtime on Wednesday at home versus Randolph-Macon, completed its ODAC slate with Saturday's contest.
 
The Hornets took two of its 11 shots in the first overtime with the Quakers getting six of the 21 shots after the end of regulation.
 
GC took 10 of the game's 12 corners.
 
SU goalkeepers Dylan Johnson and Travis Jett combined for 11 saves. Jett made six stops in 31:19 of action and Johnson five in 75:04.

Shenandoah completes its season on Saturday 7 p.m. non-league contest versus Mount Aloysius. That game is senior day and goalkeeper Sam Fischer will be recognized prior to the contest.
