WINCHESTER, Va. – No. 18/35 Shenandoah University earned its tenth ODAC baseball victory of the season Wednesday by dispatching Eastern Mennonite, 11-8.

Shenandoah (13-3, 10-2 ODAC) led 11-3 heading into the ninth before EMU made matters interesting with a five-spot in the top of the frame.

nd career dinger with a two-run shot in the fifth.

Leading 5-3 heading into the bottom of the seventh, Shenandoah seemingly turned the game into a rout with six runs on just one hit in the bottom of the seventh.

Three different EMU pitchers issued four walks and hit three batters while the defense committed one error that allowed three of the runs to be unearned.

Freshman
Jacob Faivre earned the win with four innings of work. Working under a pre-determined pitch limit, Faivre (1-0) allowed one run on four hits in the four innings of work.

He also struck out four.

Ritter and
Pearce Bucher both had two hits.
