CRESSON, Pa. – No. 15 Shenandoah University completed its regular season Sunday with a 14-4 non-league baseball victory at Mount Aloysius.

Shenandoah (26-8) scored four runs in the first, along with two in the second, two in the third, and four in the sixth to take a commanding lead over Mount Aloysius (17-12).

Keegan Woolford gave the Hornets a lead they would not relinquish with a grand slam home run in the top of the first.

Colby Martin. Ritter had walked while Thompson singled to left and Martin to center.

Ritter and Thompson each had an RBI in the second – Ritter on a triple to right center and Thompson a sacrifice fly to center.

Matt Moon, who had tripled ahead Ritter's at-bat in the second, drove home what proved to be the game-winning run with a two-run triple to right in the third.
Haden Madagan and
Kooper Anderson, who had both singled, scored on Moon's triple.

Freshman
Reilly Owen (5-0) pitched the initial 6.0 innings to earn the victory. He allowed one run on three hits and four walks against three strikeouts.

Cade Templeton,
Parker Farrington, and
Aaron Torres pitched the seventh through ninth innings, respectively.

Moon was 4-for-5 with two triples and a double, Martin 3-for-4, and Ritter, Woolford, and Anderson all had two hits to pace the 16-hit attack.
