LYNCHBURG, Va. – Host Randolph College had a big second quarter on its way to a 76-45 ODAC women's basketball victory over Shenandoah University Wednesday evening.

The WildCats (10-2, 4-1 ODAC) scored 25 points in the second quarter to break open a two-point game versus SU (7-4, 2-4).

Trailing 12-10 heading into the second, Shenandoah saw its hosts score the first nine points of the second to expand out to 11 points at 21-10.

Madisen Kimble finally snapped a five-minute, 47-second scoreless drought with a 3-pointer at 6:20, but the damage was done. The 'Cats led by double digits the rest of the way.

Leading 37-20 at the break, Randolph added 26 points in the third to increase its lead to 31 before the two teams split 26 fourth quarter points.

The 'Cats shot 44 percent (27-of-61) to 36 percent (18-of-50) for SU and had a 38-31 advantage on the glass. Randolph also scored 29 points off of 18 Shenandoah turnovers.

Ragan Johnson led the visitors with 14 points while
Olivia Weinel added 12.
Shawnise Campbell had a team-high seven rebounds.
