FOREST, Va. – Junior Dylan Weaver has been selected as the ODAC Wrestler of the Week for wrestlers at 165 lbs. and heavier in selections announced Monday afternoon by the league office.
 
Weaver, a 2022 NCAA regional place-winner, finished third this past weekend at the Petrofes Invitational hosted by Messiah University.
 
Competing at 174 lbs., Weaver finished the invitational with a 5-1 record that included two wins by major decision along with a technical fall and a fall. In the third-place match, he was a 15-4 major decision winner over David Reinhart from Mount Union.
 
Weaver is now 13-4 on the season with four major decisions, three technical falls, and two falls. He opened the season with a championship at the Alvernia Open.
 
The Hornets are next on the mat Thursday night in a 7 p.m. ODAC match at Roanoke.
