Wrestling Finalizes 2026-27 Schedule

WINCHESTER, Va. - Entering the program's seventh season, the Shenandoah University wrestling team has announced its 2026-27 schedule on Thursday afternoon.

The Hornets start at the Tonee Ellis Memorial Tournament on November 7 at Alvernia University. The following weekend they head to Hunter College in New York for a tri-match also featuring Rhode Island College.

Kean University travels to the James R. Wilkins, Jr. Athletics & Events Center for the first home dual of the season on November 20 at 7 p.m. The very next day, Shenandoah hosts its annual invitational with over a dozen teams participating.

In December the Hornets head to Messiah University and Missericordia University for invitationals, while also hosting Southern Virginia University for the first ODAC dual of the season.

The New Year starts with the 46th Annual Virginia Duals in Hampton, Virginia during the weekend of Janurary 8-9. The Hornets also travel to Roanoke College and Washington and Lee University for ODAC duals later in the month.

Sandwiched between the duals with the Maroons and Generals, the Hornets host McDaniel College, Averett University, and the University of Lynchburg at home, with the latter two serving as ODAC contests.

In February the Hornets host Randolph College and then head to Greensboro College for the final two ODAC matches of the season.

The ODAC Championship this year is set for February 13 at Averett.
