ASHLAND, Va. – No. 1 Randolph-Macon continued its outstanding men's basketball season with a 102-60 ODAC victory over Shenandoah University Saturday afternoon.

The Yellow Jackets (22-1, 14-0 ODAC) won for the 16
th straight time with their victory over Shenandoah (3-20, 2-12).

Macon nearly led wire-to-wire in completing the season sweep over the Hornets – R-MC scored eight of the game's first nine points and after SU tied the contest at 10-10 on a Trammel Anthony layup with 14:56 to play in the first, ripped off a 15-2 run over the next five minutes to take a lead it would not relinquish.

Jaylen Williams, who led the Hornets with 21 points, ended that Yellow Jackets run with a fastbreak layup at 9:06.

Unfortunately for the Hornets, Macon had another run in itself. This time, the hosts scored eight of the game's next 10 points and had a 33-16 lead by the 5:44 mark. R-MC extended this advantage to 26 points, 48-22, by the half.

Shenandoah would get no closer than 22 points in the second half as Macon shot 53 percent (20-of-38) over the final stanza to secure the 42-point win.

Anthony had 13 points and
Davion Roberts 11 to back up Williams.

The Hornets shot 38 percent (22-of-58) for the game and grabbed 35 of the game's 75 rebounds.
