MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – The Shenandoah University volleyball team dropped both ends of a non-league tri-match at Penn State – Harrisburg Saturday afternoon.
Shenandoah (1-4) fell, 3-0, to York College of Pennsylvania in the opener before PSU-H took a 3-2 decision in the nightcap.

York (5-1) won 26-24, 25-15, 25-20 to earn the sweep.
Jillian Warter had a team-high nine kills with
Regan Minney adding five and
Kate Poppo three.
Rebecca Nguyen fueled the offense with 17 assists.
Defensively,
Natalie Reader had nine digs with
Brooke Wagner adding six and Nguyen five.
Shenandoah hit .176 (26-11—85) for the match.
PSU-H RECAP
The Hornets battled back from a 25-17 PSU-H win in the opening set to win 25-22 in both the second and third to put themselves just one win from clinching.
Unfortunately, the hosts had other ideas and stole the victory with a 25-23 win in the fourth and 15-12 in the fifth.
Warter again led the squad offensively with 16 kills while Poppo chipped in 12 and
Brooke Gast eight.
Nguyen had 30 assists and
Kylie Danella 15.
Wagner had 29 digs, Warter 22, Nguyen 11, and Poppo 10.
