FOREST, Va. – For the second consecutive week,
Mairead Mckibbin has been selected as the ODAC field hockey Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

During a weekend trip to Ohio, Mckibbin scored five goals in two games against Kenyon College and the College of Wooster.

On Saturday, in a 7-0 win over Kenyon, Mckibbin found the back of the net twice with goals in the second and fourth frames.
Â
Twenty-four hours later the elementary education major recorded a hat trick in a 6-1 win over Wooster. She scored the Hornets first, fourth, and fifth goals of the contest.

The Magnolia, Delaware native received assists from teammates
Claudia Lenahan and
Farren Winter during the 2-0 weekend for the club.

Mckibbin becomes the first Shenandoah field hockey player to win back-to-back ODAC POW honors.

She leads the ODAC in goals scored with 10.

Field hockey hosts Mary Washington on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Aikens Stadium.
