WINCHESTER, Va. – No. 15 Washington & Lee scored the first two goals of the second half Saturday on its way to a 5-2 ODAC men's soccer victory over Shenandoah.
Shenandoah (2-2-3, 0-1-1 ODAC) had tied the game at 1-1 on a
Gabe Eckenrode goal at 42:55, but the Generals (6-1-1, 2-0) had an answer.

W&L scored at 53:43 and 59:17 to take a lead it would not relinquish.
The Hornets, thanks to a
Nathan Yared penalty kick goal at 63:53, were able to cut the deficit in half. However, the Generals erased any thought of an SU comeback with goals at 70:20 and 79:37.
Washington & Lee outshot Shenandoah 22-5 and had a 7-6 advantage in corner kicks.
