Hornets Drop 2-0 Decision

BALTIMORE – No. 4 Johns Hopkins University controlled possession throughout the contest Wednesday night in a 2-0 non-league women's soccer victory over Shenandoah University.
 
The Blue Jays (7-0-2) scored one goal in each half to dispatch the Hornets (6-2-2).
 
IN BRIEF
JHU took 36 of the game's 38 shots, including 17 of 18 that were on goal.
 
Shenandoah goalkeeper Kira Ketelhut made 12 saves in the initial 66 minutes of the contest before Kasie Kilmer finished up and made an additional three saves.
 
Hopkins scored in the 29th and 58th minutes to earn the victory.
 
Kristina Skulte had the Hornets shot on goal.
 
The 'Jays also had a 5-3 edge in corner kicks.
