WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University women's soccer team wrapped up its regular season with a 1-0 loss at home against Bridgewater College on Wednesday night in an ODAC match.

The Eagles (11-5, 6-3 ODAC) scored the game's lone goal 15 minutes into the contest as they held off the Hornets (8-5-4, 3-4-3) for the win.

IN BRIEF

Bridgewater transitioned to its offensive half and crossed a ball to an awaiting Eagle, who then flicked the ball to the bottom right corner of the net for the game's only goal in the 15th minute.

Two-thirds of the way through the first half, Lauren Duffy picked up the first shot on goal for SU that was unfortunately saved by BC. Kayla Jenkins added a shot towards the end of the half that would also be saved.

Shenandoah goalie Karissa Dominick kept the score close, making two stops of her own in the second. However, Bridgewater stayed strong defensively to earn the shutout.
