GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Shenandoah Hornets wrestling team participated in the Messiah Petrofes Invitational, hosted by Messiah University on Friday and Saturday. The Hornets as a team, finished in 9
th place out of the 13 teams that participated with 69.5 team points. The Hornets were led by
Dylan Weaver in the 174-weight class who took home back-to-back 1
st place finishes in the last two tournaments he's wrestled in. Two weeks ago, Weaver won the Shenandoah Invitational for his first first-place finish of the year, before going on to win the Messiah Invitational this weekend. In the 184-weight class,
Hunter Thompson secured a fourth-place finish for the Hornets, and
Sean Rinebolt at 133 pounds, was the other Hornet to find a spot on the podium for an eighth-place finish.
