FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Shenandoah University men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 non-league decision to perennial DIII power Mary Washington Wednesday afternoon.
The Hornets (11-5) extended two singles matches into a third set versus the Eagles (8-7).

Keith Orr had the closest doubles match, dropping an 8-4 decision at No. 2. UMW won 8-2 at No. 1 and 8-1 at No. 3.
In singles, the Hornets battled Mary Washington tough in a number of matches with
Artem Babaiev falling, 1-6, 6-4, 4-6 at No. 2 and
Keith Orr 7-5, 5-7, 0-1 at No. 4.
Jovan Cirkovic dropped a 6-4, 6-4 decision in the top singles match.
