FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — First Year Benjamin Brasfield led the way for the Shenandoah University men's tennis team on Day 2 of the 2026 ITA Southeast Regional Championships, hosted by the University of Mary Washington. Brasfield strung together a pair of singles victories in the B2 Singles Draw to advance to the semifinal round.
Singles
Brasfield's dominant Saturday began in the Round of 16 of the B2 Singles Draw, where he earned a hard-fought straight-sets victory over Salisbury's L. Pham, 7-5, 6-2.
In the quarterfinals, Brasfield faced Washington College's M. Synnestvedt in a tight three-set battle. After dropping the second set, Brasfield regrouped to close out the match with a decisive 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (10-4) super-tiebreaker win.
