WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah University men's tennis team continued its winning ways Sunday in a 9-0 ODAC triumph over Ferrum.
Shenandoah (9-3, 5-1 ODAC) just missed having a perfect match as the Hornets lost just one game total in shutting out the Panthers (1-9, 0-6).
IN BRIEF
The lone match not to be decided at love was No. 1 singles, where
Jovan Cirkovic was a 6-0, 6-1 victor.
Artem Babaiev,
Dominick Suwak,
Keith Orr,
Brenton Baugh, and
Jonathan Clippinger won at Nos. 2 though 6 singles, respectively, at love.
The three doubles matches also went 8-0 with Cirkovic teaming with Babaiev at No. 1, Suwak and Orr at No. 2, and Baugh with Clippinger at No. 3.
Orr had the match-clinching win with his victory at No. 4 singles.
The victory is the ninth straight for the Coach
Jason Cole's club.
