Wrestling Takes Home Fourth Place at ODAC Championships

DANVILLE, Va. - The Shenandoah University wrestling team earned a fourth-place finish at the 2024 ODAC Wrestling Championships hosted by Averett University on Saturday. The Hornets have eight place winners with the highlight being Hunter Thompson earning Third Team All-ODAC with his third-place finish.

Shenandoah earned 93.5 team points during the championship. Anikan Burks (125), Sean Rinebolt (133), Hunter Ballantine (141), Cannon Long (157), and Jalen Cornelius (165) all placed fourth in their respective weight class. Shenandoah's Dylan Weaver (174) and Daniel Basil-Barker (285) rounded out the place winners for SU, finishing fifth.
