WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Shenandoah University wrestling team participated in the NCAA South Regional hosted by Lycoming College on Saturday.  After the day was complete, Dylan Weaver who finished in 8^th place on day one will be wrestling tomorrow for a shot to go to NCAA Nationals in Wisconsin on March 15-16^th.  Five Hornets made it to the Blood Round, but only Dylan Weaver was able to advance to the final day.  Weaver opened his round with a tech fall win over Ryan Gildersleeve (Penn State Behrend) 22-5 in the third round.  Weaver went on to win by major decision over Tyson Hoopes (Southern Virginia) 13-1.  Eli Crum from the host Lycoming took out Weaver by decision 9-5 in the quarterfinals match.  Weaver then won his final match of the day by tech fall over Gavin Hollingsworth from Alvernia 18-2 in the third round.
