LEXINGTON, Va. – The Shenandoah University wrestling team traveled to face Washington and Lee in an ODAC dual, falling 40-6 to the Generals.

The Hornets (3-8, 1-4) secured their lone victory at 141 pounds, where Sean Rinebolt delivered an impressive third-period fall.

  • 125 poundsAnakin Burks controlled the match with a 15-3 lead in the second period, but a late takedown by the Generals resulted in a 24-15 loss, giving W&L an early 4-0 advantage.
  • 133 poundsXavier Ramsey fell by major decision, 16-3, to Calvin Wiederner.
  • 141 poundsSean Rinebolt, trailing late in the third period, fought back with an escape and a takedown before securing a fall to put the Hornets on the board.
