FREDERICKSBURG, VA - Shenandoah Men's Tennis concluded play at this year's ITA Southeast Regional Championships this afternoon at the University of Mary Washington.

Doubles

Dominick Suwak and Lucas Beasley played a back-and-forth match against Gipner/Battaglia of Mary Washington. The match ended 8-7 in favor of the UMW pair, with a 7-3 tiebreak. The pair will start the season as one of the region's best doubles teams.

Artem Babaiev and Neal Love had the longest run of the day, making it to the B1 Consolation Final round. They opened the day with an 8-3 quarterfinal win over Esztergomi/Nelson of St. Mary's (MD), followed by a gritty semifinal win against Snyder/Finkel of Ursinus, 8-7 (8-6). The pair's day would come to an end in the final, falling to Storberg/Urgal of Washington College (MD), 4-8.

Singles

Dominick Suwak only got one match today, as he fell in the Singles Quarterfinals to Alex Feies of Carnegie Mellon, 1-6, 0-6.

Lucas Beasley also had one match today, going down in the B2 Consolation Quarterfinal to Will Secord of Carnegie Mellon, 6-8.
