2026 Hall of Fame Spotlight: Brooke Over

WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University Department of Intercolligiate Athletics is inducting five individuals into its Hall of Fame Class of 2026, with the week's spotlight focusing on Shenandoah softball's Brooke Over.

Over, a pitcher from 2009-12 for the Hornets, helped the team win the 2011 USA South Championship and is a four-time All-USA South honoree, plus won the league's rookie of the year award in 2009.

The pitcher leads the program in all-time wins with 58 in 110 appearances, with 60 complete-game outings. Over also tops the record book in strikeouts (665), shutouts (20), opponent batting average (.206), and saves (5). 

Throughout her career, Over pitched four solo no-hitters, including a nine-inning, one walk no-hitter in 2011 against Averett University. 

Over and the rest of the inductees will be enshrined in the hall of fame on January 25, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in the Ferrari Room at the Brandt Student Center.
