WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University softball team published its 2026 schedule on Wednesday morning. The Hornets are under the direction of new head coach Olivia Scarbrough, who came to SU after two seasons at Bethany College.

The Hornets begin their season on February 21 at home against Misericorida, followed by a meeting with Juniata at home the following weekend.

After the two home doubleheaders, the Hornets travel to Florida for 10 games in six days during spring break. Once back from Florida, Shenandoah begins ODAC play with games at home versus Randolph-Macon and Randolph.

A quick trip to Marymount for a non-conference doubleheader precedes trips to ODAC foes Averett and Guilford. Following the ODAC trips down south, SU welcomes Gettysburg and Mary Washington to Winchester to round out non-conference competition.

The final stretch of the regular season sees the Hornets travel to Lynchburg, Sweet Briar, and Eastern Mennonite, while hosting Bridgewater, Virginia Wesleyan, and Roanoke. The conference tournament starts on May 1 at the Moyer Sports Complex in Salem, Virginia.
