Suwak Wins Twice at CNU Invitational

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Shenandoah University men's tennis team began its 2025-26 season at the CNU Invitational hosted by Christopher Newport with multiple wins in both singles and doubles play.

In doubles action, Siddarrth Rajagopalan and Max Arkans highlighted the Hornets' performance with a 6-2 victory. The tandems of Dominick Suwak and Lucas Beasley, along with Artem Babaiev and Neal Love, battled but came up just short in their matches against opponents from Averett and CNU.

Suwak led the way in singles, posting two victories on the day. He rolled past Averett 6-2, 6-0 before rallying for a three-set win over CNU's competitor, 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-4). Beasley added another win for Shenandoah with a three-set triumph over Averett 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (10-7).

UP NEXT

The Hornets compete in the ITA regional championship next weekend at Mary Washington.
