WINCHESTER, Va. - Shenandoah University head baseball coach, entering his 23rd year at the helm of the Hornets, Kevin Anderson, released his program's 2026 schedule on Tuesday afternoon.

The Hornets begin the season with 14 consecutive home games and play at home for 24 of their 38 games this year.

During the opening home stand, SU hosts doubleheaders versus Misericordia University, Widener University, Alvernia University, and Randolph-Macon College. The Hornets also welcome Mount Aloysius College, Nichols College, and Messiah University to Winchester for standalone contests.

The weekend of February 27-March 1, Shenandoah has Piedmont University, Immaculata University, and Oswego State University at home for the fifth annual Mr. V Memorial Tournament. Immaculata and Owsego St. have previously competed in the annual tournament.

A trip to Washington and Lee University serves as the first road game of the year for Shenandoah, followed by games at Virginia Wesleyan University, Dickinson College, and Eastern Mennonite University. The Generals and Royals return the favor and play at SU for midweek ODAC games on April 1 and April 21, respectively.

Following the first road trip of the year, Shenandoah plays Averett University in an ODAC home doubleheader with Bridgewater College making the short trip up I-81 for a conference game three days later. Less than 24 hours after hosting the Eagles, the Hornets have Penn State Harrisburg at home.

On the final day of March, Shenandoah plays York College in a non-conference game at home. The final month of the season sees games at Guilford College, Bridgewater, Salisbury University, Elizabethtown College, and the University of Lynchburg.

The University of Mary Washington is the final non-conference home opponent for the Hornets in early April, with SU closing out its home slate with a doubleheader versus Roanoke College and the previously mentioned April 21 contest against the Royals, which will serve as senior day.

Shenandoah's 2026 opponents had a winning percentage of .591 in 2025, with six teams making the NCAA Tournament, including Messiah, which was the national runner-up.
