Men's Volleyball Picked Seventh in ODAC Preseason Poll for Inaugural Season

FOREST, Va. - For its inaugural season, the Shenandoah University men's volleyball team was selected seventh in the nine-team ODAC Preseason Poll on Friday afternoon, as announced by the league office.

The Hornets are ranked one spot ahead of fellow first-year team Bridgewater College, with Randolph-Macon topping the poll with eight first-place votes. This is the second year that men's volleyball has been a sponsored sport for the ODAC, with the Yellow Jackets claiming the inaugural championship last year.

With the addition of the Hornets and Eagles this season, the league has moved to a six-team playoff with the top two seeds earning a first-round bye. Randolph-Macon, Roanoke, Eastern Mennonite, and Virginia Wesleyan made the conference tournament in 2025.

Shenandoah begins its season this Sunday, opening with an ODAC match versus Randolph College in a tri-match which also features Regent. SU hosts its first home match on February 3rd at 7 p.m. versus Bridgewater.
