Men's Tennis Picked Fourth in ODAC Poll for Fourth Straight Season

Hornets Start Spring Schedule on Feb. 14

FOREST, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's tennis team was selected fourth in the ODAC Preseason Poll for the third consecutive season, ahead of the spring schedule.

The Hornets are coming off a 2024-25 season that saw them reach the ODAC Semifinals after earning the four seed in last year's tournament with a 6-3 conference record.

In the preseason poll, Washington and Lee University ranks at the top with nine first-place votes, and Averett University sits second with one first-place vote. Virginia WesleyanUniversity, which the Hornets defeated 4-3 in the ODAC Quarterfinals, is third in the poll.

Randolph College sits in fifth, while picking up the final first-place tally, and the University of Lynchburg and Hampden-Sydney College rank sixth and seventh, respectively. Guilford College, Roanoke College, Bridgewater College, and Randolph-Macon College earned the final four spots in the poll

Dominick Suwak, the Hornets' top player from last year, is one of six returners to this year's squad, with two new players added.
