Suwak Clinches Win for Men's Tennis at No. 39 Salisbury

Box Score SALISBURY, Md. - The Shenandoah University men's tennis team defeated No. 39 Salisbury University for its first win of the 2025-26 season on Saturday.

The Hornets (1-3) won 4-3 thanks to a win by Dominick Suwak at single No. 1. Suwak went three sets, winning 6-4, 2-6, 6-4.

Shine Tokas gave the Hornets another point over the Sea Gulls (1-1) with a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 2. Lucas Beasley earned a 6-1, 6-1 win for the final team point from singles for Shenandoah.

Tokas and Beasley also won in the doubles as the Hornets' middle pairing, winning 6-4. The duo of Suwak and Siddharrth Rajagopalan ensured the team point from doubles for the Hornets with a 6-4 victory as well.

Shenandoah plays Hardin-Simmons University next Sunday, March 8, for the team's first match of spring break.
