Men's Tennis Wins Third Straight

Box Score HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Shenandoah University men's tennis team won its third straight match with a thrilling 4-3 win over the University of Rochester on Monday evening at the PTR Spring Tennis Fest.

The match was won for the Hornets by Dominick Suwak at singles No. 1 with a 6-1, 2-6, 1-0 (10-4). Suwak also won at doubles with Aryanth Chintharlapalli with a 6-2 decision.

Lucas Beasley and Shine Tokas helped get the Hornets the team point in doubles with another 6-2 win for the team at doubles No. 2.

Artem Babiev won the first singles match of the evening for SU with a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 4, while Tokas was victorious again at No. 2 with a 6-1, 6-3 victory.

UP NEXT

Shenandoah plays against Lake Forest College tomorrow at 1 p.m. in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
