Suwak Remains Unbeaten; Men's Tennis Defeated by No. 36 Generals

LEXINGTON, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's tennis team lost its first conference game of the year with a 6-1 road loss to nationally-ranked Washington and Lee University on Wednesday afternoon.

The defeat snaps the Hornets' (6-4, 1-1 ODAC) six-match win streak, which lasted the entire month of March.

Dominick Suwak remains unbeaten in singles action following today's match. The senior defeated Heys Parker 6-3, 6-1 for the team's lone point of the afternoon. Suwak is now 10-0 in dual play, while playing at the top spot each time.

Despite the Generals (7-9, 6-0) winning the team point in doubles, Suwak and Aryanth Chintharlapalli were victorious for SU at doubles No. 3 with a 6-2 decision.

In singles, the Generals won four matches in straight sets, along with a three-set win at No. 4.
