Men's Tennis Celebrates Senior Day with Fourth Straight Win

WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's tennis team won its fourth straight match with a 6-1 win over the Universtiy of Lynchburg on Sunday.

SU (10-4, 4-1 ODAC) started the day with a 6-2 win at doubles No. 3 by Dominic Suwak and Aryanth Chintharlapalli and a 6-4 decision at No. 2 by Shine Tokas and Lucas Beasley.

Artem Babaiev picked up the first singles win of the day for SU, defeating LYN (7-7, 3-3) 6-2, 6-2. Tokas walked away victorious at No. 2 with a 6-1, 4-6, 6-1.

Additionally, Beasley earned a three-set win 6-3, 6-7, 6-3. Siddharrth Rajagopalan used a 16-14 tiebreaker in the third set of his match at No. 5 to win, after taking the second set 6-2.

Max Arkans won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 6 for Shenandoah.
