Men's Tennis Sweeps ODAC Weekly Awards for Second Time This Year

FOREST, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's tennis team swept this week's ODAC Player of the Week awards, with Dominick Suwak winning the league's award for singles and Lucas Beasley and Shine Tokas winning it for doubles.

Suwak has won Singles Player of the Week for the sixth time this season and has also earned two additional Doubles Team of the Week awards.

The Hornets' top singles player went 2-0 this week, starting with a win over Randolph's Jacob Martin, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3. He followed it up with a victory on Saturday over Bridgewater's Corey Beshoar, 6-1, 6-1. 

For the Hornets' doubles team, Beasley and Tokas played at the No. 2 spot in all three matches this week, going 3-0. 

The duo won 6-0 over Jason Duval and A. Tinnes-Rimehaug from Randolph, prior ot defeating Bridgewater's duo of Levi Widelich and Logan Garner by the same score. Their week was rounded out by a victory against Guilford's George Hardie and Turner Johnson, 6-2.

The Hornets await to see who and where they will be playing in the 2026 ODAC Tournament.
