Shenandoah Athletics Achieves a 3.34 GPA in Spring 2026

WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics posted a 3.34 GPA for the 2026 spring semester. Overall, for the 2025-26 academic year, the department earned a 3.35 GPA across the fall and spring semesters.

Field hockey led the way for the department with a 3.78 team GPA, while women's tennis and women's cross country also posted GPAs of 3.70 or higher to round out the department's top three. Baseball, men's cross country, and men's soccer had the three highest GPAs among the men's teams.

Across the department, 21 of the 23 programs earned a 3.00 GPA or higher for the 2026 spring semester. Looking at both the fall and spring semesters, 19 of the 23 SU sports posted a 3.00 GPA or better in each term. Football, men's cross country, softball, women's lacrosse, women's tennis, and wrestling each either maintained or improved their team GPAs from the fall semester.

The list of GPAs was highlighted by 71 student-athletes achieving a 4.0 GPA, 269 earning a 3.50 GPA or better, and 392 posting at least a 3.00 GPA.
