Men's Soccer Slotted Eighth in ODAC Preseason Poll

FOREST, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's soccer team was voted eighth in the 2026 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Preseason Poll on Thursday afternoon.

The University of Lynchburg earned the maximum amount of first-place votes with 11 to earn first place. Washington and Lee University is in second, while Hampden-Sydney College, Bridgewater College, and Batten University round out the top five slots.

Randolph-Macon College and Roanoke College are in the two spots in front of the Hornets.

Shenandoah had three All-ODAC players in 2025, with Jarbin Rodriguez and Hatim Elkhasouani returning to the field in 2026 out of that trio.

The season begins on Tuesday at 7 p.m. with a non-conference home game against Johns Hopkins Unviersity.
