Men's Basketball Releases 2026-27 Schedule

WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's basketball team has officially released its 2026-27 season schedule on Tuesday afternoon as the team enters its fifth season under head coach Nick Doyle.

The Hornets start their season with two straight home games. The campaign tips off on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 7 p.m. versus Gettysburg College, followed by a 7 p.m. game that Friday against McDaniel College. Overall, Shenandoah hosts 12 home games.

On Saturday, November 14, 2026, SU heads to NCAA Division I Radford University for an exhibition game, which can be watched on ESPN+.

November is rounded out with a trio of non-conference road games at Wilson College, St. Mary's College (Md.), and Lancaster Bible College. Following those games, the Hornets return home for their first ODAC game versus Randolph-Macon College at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2026.

Shenandoah's non-conference slate ends with December road games at Mary Baldwin University and Gwynedd Mercy University, plus home games against Regent University and Washington College (Md.). Between those non-conference games is an ODAC contest at Washington and Lee University on December 14, 2026.

The final 14 games of the season are all conference games. That final 14-game stretch starts with consecutive home games against Batten University and Hampden-Sydney College. On January 13 and 16, respectively, SU heads to the University of Lynchburg and Averett University.

January ends with home games against Eastern Mennonite University and Guilford College, plus rematches with RMC and W&L. Then February tips off with a rematch against Batten.

Randolph College hosts the Hornets on February 6, 2027, with Roanoke College and EMU also hosting SU for the final two road games of the regular season. The final home games for the Hornets feature Bridgewater College and Lynchburg making trips to the James R. Wilkins Athletics & Events Center.
